“Does everything seem to be ready, is everybody ready, ladies and gentlemen the greatest rock and roll band in the world, the Rolling Stones”
Ladies and gentlemen, the Rolling Stones will not be playing Gantry State Park this Saturday. Instead I am happy to announce that there will be an Easter egg hunt. Now I know that may appear to be a terrible tradeoff, but for a very select few in the community, the angst regarding the arrival of news on the annual Spring stalk has been an incredible burden the last week. There’s one little hitch – you must sign-up your child to participate, see link below.
//A live coyote was found wandering on the rooftop of the LIC bar today. The LIC Post reported the story and Matt Quigley from Plaxall provided the pictures, to see them click below. This is not the first time a coyote has appeared in Long Island City. Back in 2010 one was photographed near the Queensboro Bridge – might it be the same animal?
//After a dozen local articles, The New York Times weighed in on the now 77-story tower planned for Queens Plaza. Additional info they provided was a) a rendering b) the fact that it must get started by summer to qualify for tax breaks without having to provide affordable housing, and c) that Jimmy Van Bramer has given his approval. Get those eggs!
