Wow a breakfast special for $3.95 – the start of a good morning!

Good morning, good morning LIC, I figured today I would break the typical news cycle (print anyway) and publish in the A.M.  Oh wait, at this hour I don’t really have much to say, so good morning, good morning.

//WIFI is coming to Gantry Plaza State Park.  As if one needed another reason to spend time along the waterfront gazing at the skyline, soon you’ll be able to connect to the internet and gaze at a screen some more …while sitting in the park.  Wifi towers have already been installed, but according to our tipster the Parks Department doesn’t know the exact date they’ll be put into use.

You know what’s disgusting, that poor old man sits out side the train station everyday begging for money in his wheelchair and then the bunch of alcoholics who use him and take whatever money he collects to go buy alcohol with it and hang out in the Vernon Mall all day !!!!!!! Can someone please clean this place up!!!!!! All of the city park rules are being broken here and no one want to address them, drinking, smoking, urinating !!!!!! Jimmy Van Bremer? 108th? Where is the quality of life?

Yes!! And he’s always blocking the entrance in the morning.

Jason, if you see something as you described above, and want a change, you need to be that change in the immediate. Long term, I agree contacting JVB’s office and the 108 is best, but if you see some person(s) stealing from another, particularly a disabled individual, and you do nothing about it — that is inexcusable. You want change, be the change, and step up.

anonymous, it seems like you have all the answers maybe you should step up and do something about it, good luck!
