The Fall Equinox brings police boats to the East River for UN week, the Jets teasing their fans as if this is the year, a good yontif to the pontiff, and best of all Oktoberfest in full swing 1. It did not usher in much in the way of news for LIC, but we do have a new dentist. Dr. Ishwinder Saran will bring his dental practice to an office in the Plumbers Union Building in Hunters Point: LIC Dental Associates. Dr. Saran has been living on Center Boulevard for a year, and you can go onto his website to read more about him as well as book an appointment. Don’t forget to floss.
