A new Indian restaurant named Adda has opened in Long Island City according to Eater. Located at 31-31 Thomson Ave across from LaGuardia College, it is owned and operated by some of the same people who ran the previous restaurant, Unicos Tacos, at the same site. Despite that establishment’s brief tenure, this less-eclectic concept looks promising if the Eater article and photos are any guide. In addition the aesthetics of the location and website and the offerings and prices on the menu seem attuned to the demographics of the neighborhood. Currently they only deliver through Seamless which tacks on a $2-4 charge depending on where in LIC you live.
