Sex may sell, but there’s nothing more highly anticipated in Long Island City than the annual Easter Egg Hunt. The local lust for this event is unrivaled, outside of the comprehensive coverage of it by LICtalk. It’s stories like this that make the $90K in student debt I still retain to get my Masters in Journalism from Northwestern so worth it.
As if things could not get any better, this year we have the addition of a second Easter Egg Hunt! This one will take place in Murray Park on Saturday, April 15 between 10am and Noon. In addition to eggs there will be live music, face painting etc., and snacks and drinks (Bloody Mary’s seem appropriate). To register for the event email murrayparkevents2017@gmail.com. That happens to be the same exact date and time of the Gantry Park event, which has yet to open for registration (follow LICtalk on Twitter to receive an alert about sign-up). In case that’s not enough eggs for ya, there will also be another Egg Hunt in Queensbridge Park at 2pm on the same day. Basta por hoy, goo goo g’joob.
