I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I didn’t think the Stones cared about money. My father slid the platter of fried chicken toward me, and I saw in his eyes, the eyes of a man who started out in the world plowing a Georgia mule for fifty cents a day, a sad, wise look, a look that said, Nobody doesn’t care about
the moneyreal estate.
HERE we are, roughly the midway point of summer, when ocean breezes and misty mountains should be our aim, only to be brought back to reality. The hard tangible reality that is real estate.
Today I received a press release announcing ‘Radiant Condominiums tops out with nearly 40% in contract.’ ‘Radiant,’ is a 19-story, 117-unit building located at 24-01 Queens Plaza North. I love the look of the building, the location leaves a little to be desired, but looks are everything I guess. Or maybe ‘new’ is everything, or maybe any condo ‘where I can throw in the towel and not worry about rising rents’ are everything. It’s a weird market, real estate and otherwise, but maybe it’s all being bought with crypto. Or the investment banking fees derived from some ersatz crypto product. There’s a lot of those in NYC.
Yet I digress. Summer, midway, Friday afternoon in July, oceans, mountains…
Radiant – Redefining Modern Living
I don’t get people buying condos in a building that isn’t even finished yet.
Pre construction is always cheaper and you can alter certain designs and finishes to your preferences
But mostly cheaper
