Back in May, when we last checked in on the local public school situation, the status of PS78Q’s remaining K-8 was in question. I have yet to hear about any new location found for an additional school, so we can’t provide you with anything new. While we’re waiting, there’s a new article out entitled “Long Island City Parents Worry About Overcrowded Schools” that gives an excellent recap of the evolution of the school situation, as well as some actual numbers with which to work. Read’em and weep.
