I wish I had some meaty news to share with you, but I don’t. Sure, Mothership Meat Company received it’s first review (come for the brisket, stay for the chili), and some guy at Forbes says the best craft breweries in NYC are in Qns/Bklyn (yawn), but that’s more opinion than news. Here’s something factual, but it’s been out for a week: the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks will not be anywhere near LIC this year (Brooklyn Bridge/Seaport).
Oh wait, LICtalk does have a new look! Yes we finally ditched the old layout, which was so 2014, for one that screams no mo FOMO. Does that portend an upgrade in content? Alas no, at least subjectively as we already max out on how many Pulitzers we can receive annually. But the look and feel is different, and yet the same because best of all you can once again sign-up for email updates. That’s right, email is back, so retro – whatcha waitin’ for?
