Two years ago I entitled a story “The Best Week to Be a New Yorker,” which was all about the week encompassing Halloween and The New York Marathon. Wouldn’t you know it, Sandy rolls in and the scuttling of that weeks plans was the least of everyone’s problems. So this week we get another crack at it, and while we have beautiful, warm weather now, come the weekend it’s going to feel a lot more like late fall.
The Court Square Blog has a number of interesting leads and pictorials this week, including the final demolition pics of 5Pointz, a view of the scaffolding-free Planned Parenthood fortress, and most importantly, the signage arrival for the Dunkin’ Donuts next to Murray Park. So instead of my linking to one particular item, check out the whole site.
