Dancing in the street
This Friday evening ‘Dancing With The Stars’ featuring local residents comes to Long Island City and here’s why you should go:
- You were spared innumerable hours of training, late night awakenings of angst/stage fright, and stayed in your comfort zone – the least you could do is attend!
- Free Buffet featuring local LIC restaurants
- Open Bar
Oh sure I probably should include in the above the altruistic aspects of the proceeds supporting two local charities: The Floating Hospital & Queensboro Dance Festival, not to mention supporting/encouraging your neighbors who did participate, and general community conviviality, but will keep those more prosaic items buried here in the footnotes. Consider it a bonus.
More exciting is the chance to see all the hot new dances like the electric slide, funky chicken, and lambada. Here are the details:
When: This Friday, November 15 from 6pm to 9pm
Where: The Plaxall Gallery, 5-25 46th Avenue
Cost: $60 for adults, $10 for kids

November 18, 2019 at 9:13 amHello.
There is a new Spa that just opened in Jackson Ave called Sunny Spa
Do you know if this is a legit Spa and not massage parlor?
We don’t need a brothel in our neighborhood!!
Thanks
