A handful of exciting eating options are now available in LIC this Spring. Most pressing is the announcement of the Butcher Paper Dinners on the rooftop of Brooklyn Grange (LIC). There are six of them spread out over various Sundays thru October, and they are as much an experience as a meal, though the food is excellent as well.
For those not looking to eat cooked food al fresco, a new sushi pop-up with an all-inclusive dinner is coming to LIC, according to WeHeartAstoria.
If raw fish isn’t your thing, but you like the idea of all-inclusive gorging, the PS78Q Spring Dinner & Auction is next Monday, May 9 at Maiella. $95 buys you a bib, a shovel, and a seat at the trough – not to mention a paddle for the auction part. May the Open Bar also give you the courage to forgo frugality for a night and be the winning bidder on numerous items.
Finally, for those wondering about the new format at the old Testaccio, there’s a story for you too. Mangia!
