A Long Island City man alleges he was attacked and had a $120,000 Audemars Piguet watch stolen from him in the Avalon North parking garage on 47th Rd. according to a report on NBC4 New York.
The attack occurred on Thursday night as he was getting out of his car, two men with guns approached him and pushed him into his back seat, delivering some nasty bloody cuts to the back of his head before removing the watch. The man believes he was being tracked, possibly as long as the whole day, with his watch being the object of desire of his attackers. He also claims other friends of his have also recently been targeted for their watches. I guess that’s a silver-lining for those worried about LIC being the main focus of these thugs.
The man, who refused to give his full name to the reporter, is offering a $50,000 reward for information. Unfortunately the who/what/where of this reward is not currently available, so if you have that info…
