March 1, 2023 in Long Island City. Nothing to report on the ground, but in the skies…
Tonight we get the Jupiter-Venus Conjunction here in LIC. Well actually it’s happening all over the northern hemisphere, which is something we can share with our sister city across the globe: Ashgabat – which is in Turkmenistan for those unaware.
Back here at home, the conjunction will occur in the early evening for the first few hours after sunset. This is yet another event that is widely available to residents of LIC, but for logistical reasons not-so-widely for those actually living in Manhattan, or elsewhere in the three boroughs. Lucky us!
