Sorry folks, if you’re looking for things to do in LIC this Memorial Day Weekend, you’re out of luck. Everything momentous this Spring has already occurred. The good news is that MoMA PS1 announced their 2015 Warm-Up lineup this week, so starting on June 27th you’ll have an anchor event. For the time being though, you’ll have to content yourselves by drooling over the Hunters Point South pictorial below, or if you’re lucky enough to have been a qualified winner, show it to all those who weren’t as if they were baby pictures. In fact, the buildings in HPS will be the only place to view this year’s Macy’s Fireworks, because according to the LIC Post, Hunters Point South Park will be closed to the public on Juky 4 for television crews and staging! Ok, one last word for you this weekend, and every one this summer: sunblock.
