A new restaurant called Top Quality has opened at 10-29 44th Rd. in Long Island City. As we previously reported, the restaurant is overseen by Mark Rancourt who formerly owned Extra Fancy in Williamsburg. An employee onsite today shared that the kitchen is led by Matthew Gaudet, a chef who received many accolades heading several high end restaurants in Boston.
Top Quality soft-opened a few weeks ago with a menu featuring Modern Mexican cuisine including an assortment of appetizers and salads, as well as many different types of freshly made tacos and tamales. Expect new additions as the summer rolls on, and a full bar is available now.
Of equal importance, the restaurant has a large and airy outdoor space allowing multiple socially distanced picnic tables for dining onsite, or you can order online for contactless pickup. Eventually when the smoke clears, the restaurant hopes to have live music in their courtyard and be able to host large events. Check out the menu and hours below.
