Two stars and a NYT “Critics Pick” for the latest rendition of M. Wells. In tandem with night filming on Vernon Boulevard and the return of the Christmas tree sellers on 47th Road and 5th Street, LIC is back in the swing of things just in time for Thanksgiving and the onset of winter. Yet as we have noted since Sandy, while the overwhelming majority have it in their rear view mirror, there is still a small group for whom it is front and center. So give thanks for what you have, and have avoided, and keep those neighbors less fortunate in mind, both this weekend and going forward.

great post…thanks and happy thanksgiving!
Agreed thanks for the post – a nice entry into the holiday weekend!
The pictures in the M Wells article make the place look so uncomfortable and uninviting, I’m not sure I would enjoy it no matter how good the food.
Agreed on M Wells, the school chair and lecture desks that you sit at are kind of a deal, err meal killer for me.
At least we have a restaurant worthy of a review by the NY Times.
Look people, not every restaurant conforms to the Danny Meyer/Steve Hanson robo mold. Different experiences are what life’s about.
