KYURAMEN, a Taiwanese ramen chain, is opening a new branch in Long Island City located at the ground level of the Star Tower at 27-17 42nd Road in Queensboro Plaza. This will be their third location in NYC (and the U.S.), with others expected soon in both this city and along the eastern seaboard. The chain currently has 100+ locations in the Far East, predominantly in Taiwan.
In addition to ramen, the menu will feature other ramenesque1 items, such as gyoza and pork buns. More intriguingly, they offer Rice & Ramen burgers – none of which contain ground beef – including those made with eel & avocado, softshell crab, and pork belly. A call to their other NYC locations did not yield an opening date, but by the looks of things I’d say a month or two. Kyuramen will also serve alcohol, oh yeah.

Just a note that it was at the 21st Street-Queensbridge station, not Queens Plaza, where the Asian man was pushed onto the tracks.
