Christmas has come early to Long Island City, as Trader Joe’s will be opening a new location at 22-43 Jackson Avenue towards the end of next year according to the LIC Post. It will be housed in approximately 17k square feet on the ground floor of a new apartment building being constructed across the street from MoMA PS1.
Anyway here in LIC you’d think it were the second coming of Amazon, or possibly even the actual Second Coming, as residents have long clamored for this chain in particular to deign us worthy of their reasonably priced Bloody Mary Salsa and Philly Cheesesteak Bao Buns. But remember good people, between now and next year, you better not cry, you better not pout.
