WESTVILLE, a small local chain of fast casual restaurants, is opening a location at 43-12 Hunter Street in the heart of Court Square. If 43-12 Hunter Street doesn’t ring a bell or conjure up an image denoting it to be the heart of Court Square, then how does directly across from Food Cellar on Crescent Street strike you? Down the street from M Wells? Half a block from the tower fka as the Citi Building?
Anyhow, Westville is coming and bringing it’s market vegetables, garden plates, soups, salads, sandwiches, asian braised-beef rice bowls, poblano chicken burritos, and homemade chorizo empanadas with them. And if that’s not enough there’s also burgers and dogs to fill in the cracks.
This will be their ninth location – one less than double-digits, four less than a bakers dozen, and seventy-one less than four score – so they must be doing something right. Did I mention there were hamburgers and hot dogs?
