Someone in the Malkin family, the owners of the Empire State Building, is a hardcore Dead-head!  Every time the post-Jerry Garcia spin-off band plays NYC, which is quite frequent,  they get top billing in the Manhattan skyline, an honor not given to any other band.  In case you are curious what the colors on the ESB mean on any given night, I have provided a link, though you may be somewhat disappointed to find that it’s “In honor of the Baby Buggy 10th Anniversary.”  In fact you might be disappointed with the dearth of relevant LIC-centric news this week, or maybe not if unlike myself you have a real life.
