Yin Traditional Hotpot Restaurant Coming to Long Island City

A new Chinese Hot Pot restaurant is coming to Court Square in Long Island City. Yin Traditional Hotpot will be located at 23-10 Jackson Avenue as first reported in The Court Square Blog, in a space previously occupied by Bia Vietnamese Pub, and before that a Quiznos.

Big New Restaurant Coming To 44th Rd. – Seafood Anyone?

Never too early to start thinking about summer in LIC

A new restaurant will be opening on 44th Road in Long Island City under the aegis of Mark Rancourt, a co-owner of Extra Fancy in Williamsburg. Extra Fancy describes itself as a “Crab-shack-chic eatery serving New England-style seafood plates, upscale sandwiches, creative cocktails & craft beer.” I would describe it as crab shack meets Brother Jimmy’s down on the bayou in the 1980’s (given the soundtrack when I went).

‘American Brass’ Restaurant in LIC Ready For It’s Debut

American Brass restaurant in Long Island City — My summer office location

Signage is up and the menu has been revealed for American Brass, a new restaurant being built out on the corner of 49th Avenue and Center Boulevard. Previously occupied by the Riverview Restaurant for close to a decade, the highly visible location with a large sidewalk seating section has been under wraps for almost two years. The new owners are the management team behind Maiella.
