J.Lo, the artist fka as Jennifer Lopez, will be performing live at the Oval in Hunters Point South Park in Long Island City this Friday Night in a taping for the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks.
In addition, Charlie Puth and Hailee Steinfeld will be performing tonight at the Oval for a taping, and Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, and Sheryl Crow will be performing live there on July 4.
Most importantly, we have the link to get you free tickets to get into these events. The first two nights, June 28 & 30th, have traditionally been open to anyone who ambles by the Oval, with a cordoned off area in front of the stage which requires tix. The night of July 4, no one can get into the park at all without tickets to the show, as it is fully cordoned off and accessible only to Macy’s VIP’s and those who grab the tix below.
Now as veterans of the tapings know, the artists usually play a song or two multiple times as opposed to a full or even mini-performance. But the event is otherwise very casual and adds to the excitement of the upcoming long weekend by lending it some celebrity gloss. Start dancing.
Jennifer Lopez Live in LIC Tickets – Friday night @ 6:30pm, tix are free

June 30, 2017 at 8:35 amWell Macy’s locking down the neighborhood for people that actually live here on the 4th of July. It would have been a wonderful gesture to have them give tickets to the residents of the buildings. Folks are being secured in the area and the tenants are not allowed to even stay outside in front of their buildings. Shame Shame Shame! Third year the first year residents and neighbors had free reign with exception of the Oval area. What happened that changed this and locked out neighbors and locked down the area so was there an incident that was unreported? If New Year’s Eve can have crowds of hundreds of thousands why can’t they secure this area for the neighborhood and allow the neighbors to participate in virwing the event?
