JULIET’S Pizza at 27-20 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City has finally opened after a year+ wait since signage went up. They are currently serving a preview menu consisting of four basic choices (plain, pepperoni, white, sicilian), available as slices or pies. Current hours are 11:30am to 7:30pm seven days a week.
What else is there to know? Well according to a reader comment, it’s the same owner as Levante, and they plan on having a gastro pub in the rear. Pizza and beer, what else do you need to know?
//Addendum: While we’re on the subject of reader comments, HB was absolutely correct last month that I neglected to include Adda restaurant in my short list of LIC restaurants that have received worldwide acclaim. As HB pointed out, it was called the best Indian food in NYC, and received 2 stars from the NYT – The Editor.

July 11, 2023 at 1:17 amyou also forgot to add that they decided to take over 70% of the available sidewalk in front of their establishment, way to get free seating space (by getting us, the taxpayers, to pay for the sidewalk maintenance and they rack up profits)
