Last week we uncovered a stealth restaurant, this week we bring you news of a new indoor ice rink in Hunters Point. Hidden among the dichotomy of 46th Road, in a two-story red brick building just east of Vernon Boulevard, L.I.C.-ICE has been operating for about a month. As pictured above, it’s a long and very narrow rink whose main focus is youth hockey training. Per the “Street View” on Google, they added a second story and did a gut rehab to transform it. Above the ice is a large conditioning room.
Just don’t go looking for a sign on the building advertising the rinks existence, so my thanks to Ms. Rory Poppins for the heads-up. Keep-em coming.
