Just this week construction began and the windows were papered up. Given the prime location, expect one dollar from every cone to be going to the landlord, and it’ll take a lot of cones to keep him sated. Better hope for a summer opening. Mm-mm.

It’s called Secret Summer NYC, and it’s a six-hour ‘Gatsbyesque’ boozathon in The Foundry. Given the mix of artisanal cocktails, costumes, daytime drinking, and gorgeous setting, I imagine a lot of hooking up goes on, but you’ll have to find out for yourself.
