LAST week I received a letter in the mail that my dentist, Dr. Steven Mantinaos, was rolling his independent practice “Into The White Dental” into ProHealth Dental. Previously he worked out of a small storefront on Vernon Boulevard next to the Societa Sant’ Amato Di Nusco. I had only been a patient of Dr. Mantinaos for less than a year, having spent close to a decade with Dr. Dan (Weinstein) at his previously-independent practice Hunters Point Dental – before it too was rolled into ProHealth.[Read more…] about Dentist Dilemma In Long Island City

Serpentine Shelly, Serpentine!
THERE you are, you and your family have diligently saved and slaved for many years to start your own restaurant instead of working 12/6 in someone else’s. According to a recent article in Eater Los Angeles:
The company made its name by making custom order ice cream from -196 degree liquid nitrogen, where fresh ingredients are flash frozen into a liquid base. The flavors plans are simple: Four Winters uses the seasons of the year for inspiration.
Now all I need to do is decide between Knafeh and Brown Sugar Speculoos.[Read more…] about More Live Music and More Ice Cream For Long Island City This Summer
