It’s been a long time since I had Sweet Thistle Pie
Side Hustle Pub at 43-01 Dutch Kills Street in Court Square opens this Wednesday according to The New York Times.
The pub, or in modern day parlance gastro-pub, will serve upscale bar food such as Bone Marrow, Crab Cakes, and Shishito Peppers, along side more conventional items such as a burger, a pulled pork sandwich, and wings. It will have a full bar and a slew of craft beers on tap, as well as half a dozen screens to watch the game.
It is located adjacent to Juliet’s Pizza on Jackson Avenue, and owned by the same management, Stella Hospitality Group, which also owns Levante a few blocks away.

Been to Side Hustle a couple of times now. Very good food. Definitely the kind of thing the neighborhood needed, since Penny Bridge closed. The Side Hustle burger is terrific.
