Black Star Bakery Vernon Blvd

MAYBE you noticed the covered windows on Black Star Bakery’s Vernon Boulevard location this week? Having just opened exactly two years ago, and seemingly fairly busy, the sudden closing came as somewhat of a surprise. Especially given the very prominent corner location above the Vernon/Jackson subway station. Here’s the scoop doughp.

AS of 7am this morning, a new day has dawned on Vernon Boulevard. Black Star Bakery has opened it’s fifth location on the prime Hunters Point corner of 50th Avenue as we first reported back in September. It looks like they have a few new menu options too.
