Letterman asked Zevon if there was anything he understood now, facing his own mortality, that he didn’t before. Zevon replied, “Just how much you’re supposed to enjoy every sandwich.”))
A whole lotta news happened here while I was guzzling away on the beach during Spring Break. There’s no craft beer where I went, just Bud Light during the day and Fireball at night. Just when you thought her hour and 15 minutes of fame were over, Stephanie Clifford storms back into the limelight by announcing she will be seeking the City Council seat in District 26 currently held by Jimmy Van Bramer when he’s forced to leave in 2020 due to term limits.

AS everyone knows Christmas falls on December 25, St. Patty’s on March 17, and Thanksgiving on the fourth Thursday of November, but Easter is ever so elusive. Sure I know it’s on a Sunday, but that can land anytime from late March until almost the end of April. This really messes with my vacation schedule – will it be ski-able in Verbier, too cold in Palm Beach, too hot in Anguilla???
