
Woodstock ’69, were you there? How about Gantry 2018 for July 4? If you were you were among the masses as seemingly record crowds filled the park. They started camping on the piers around 1pm for prime spots, broiling in the heat. By sunset though the weather turned perfect at which point the police were shunting late arrivals to the northern portion of the park. Yeah, you had to be there.
//WE hear that the Chinese restaurant we said was coming to Vernon Boulevard will be opening in about a month. Except according to our source it may be more like Asian fusion, or possibly a Japanese buffet? With friends like these… Anyway, if it’s true, the restaurant may want to do a last minute pivot as Hunters Point has plenty of the latter options and zero of the former.
