AFTER a one-year hiatus due to a ghoulish pandemic, the LIC Halloween Parade will return to Vernon Boulevard this Saturday, October 30. The lineup kicks off at 11:15am in front of the 108th Precinct and only runs until noon? Well that’s what it says on the flyer but I’m not sure how that’s going to work out given the crowds and increasing growth in the neighborhood.

Back to Shul
“And just remember, the best thing about kids… is making them!”
“Bring us a pitcher of beer every seven minutes until somebody passes out. And then bring one every ten minutes.”

WILL kids be going back to NYC public schools this upcoming Monday? Absolutely not because it’s Yom Kippur. So it’s shul for some and a good beach day for others. Come Tuesday, who knows? LIC HALLOWEEN PARADE SUNDAY & MORE
It’s going to be another week of declining NFL ratings, as the annual LIC Halloween Parade takes place this Sunday. It starts at 2:30 and convenes in front of the 108th Precinct House on 50th Avenue, where all children will be biometrically scanned and catalogued to ensure a smooth transition through teenhood, After that the mayhem begins, and will include: a pumpkin patch, photo booth, dunk tank, spooky games, costume contest, and candy.
But wait, there’s more: This Saturday, October 29, is the PS/IS78Q PTA Fall Festival from noon-3pm on Center Boulevard between [Read more…] about LIC HALLOWEEN PARADE SUNDAY & MORE
