SO, you may have noticed that the windows of the former Bella Via space have recently been papered up. That is because a lease has been signed. Now we are going to slowly reveal the mystery behind the new tenant for this prime location on the corner of Vernon Boulevard and 48th Avenue.
Behold – it will be a restaurant! Behold – it will not serve Italian cuisine. Behold – we have been sworn to secrecy not to divulge the new concept that will be coming to this space due to some legal wrangling that hopefully will be resolved in the next month.
What we can tell you is that it will be a concept that is completely new to Long Island City, and whose roots derive directly from the upbringing of the owner. As a further tease, it will be very colorful and extremely fun when opening day arrives in the Spring of 2023. Stay tuned…
