Hey readers, there’s a great new website with oodles of juicy personal stuff about everyone on the planet. I just used up all my vacation days through 2020 to wander through the profiles and stalk every woman who’s ever said ‘Hello’ to me, …and those that didn’t. Not that I maintained an actual list – hard copy anyway. In all my perusing, something must have gone awry, a technical violation of some sort, because I’ve been personally banned from the site.

Manhattan Henge and all that comes with it is coming - as is summer — ManhattanHenge is coming – summer too

A 31-story Marriott hotel containing a Starbucks opened today in Queens Plaza across the street from Dutch Kills Green. Ok, ok, it’s actually a Courtyard by Marriott, but according to NY Yimby it is the largest hotel building in Queens and one of the city’s largest hospitality establishments outside of Manhattan. Yet even that may be a little misleading, because even though it has 160 rooms, it will also contain 135 residences.

SUGARCUBE OPENS IN HUNTERS POINT

Spring came early Sunday, and brought out a lot of potential patrons for Sugarcube — Spring came early to LIC Sunday “Hmm, maybe there are enough patrons for another cafe”

A new cafe called Sugarcube Patisserie has opened on 50th Avenue between Vernon Boulevard and Jackson Avenue. It serves pastries, gelato made in house, petit-fours, and of course coffee. The building housing it blasted out a previously non-existent storefront to create a retail space, as the demand and price for street level locations escalates higher. Early reviews from a sprinkling of readers are very good, so take tomorrow off and join cafe society for a day.
