Dress rehearsal for J.Lo’s back-up dancers

J.Lo, the artist fka as Jennifer Lopez, will be performing live at the Oval in Hunters Point South Park in Long Island City this Friday Night in a taping for the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks.

In addition, Charlie Puth and Hailee Steinfeld will be performing tonight at the Oval for a taping, and Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, and Sheryl Crow will be performing live there on July 4.

FATAL SHOOTING AND LIBRARY DELAYS IN LIC

WHAT a day in LIC. It started early this morning at the Queensboro Correctional Facility where a guard who worked there ran down the street firing shots at her ex-boyfriend before turning the gun on herself. Due to bullets splaying all over the place and the eventual dramatic suicide, the story was widely reported on by NYC media within hours of its occurring.

HUNTERS POINT LIBRARY TO BE NAMED AFTER TRUMP

Long Island City's Taj Mahal — Will Long Island City’s Taj Mahal be an oxymoron?

The nearly completed Hunters Point Library along the waterfront in Long Island City will be re-christened in honor of Queens most famous native son. The Queens Library has announced that the new building will be given the name ‘Trump Library’ when it is finished later this year, and that barring any unforeseen circumstances the president will be in attendance for the grand opening and naming ceremony in September.
