‘Live At The Gantries’ Has Returned To LIC

IN yet another sign that things are getting back to normal, ‘Live At The Gantries’ musical performances have returned to LIC this summer. Every Tuesday at 7pm thru August 24 a different band and a different genre will take the stage under the Gantries by 49th Avenue and Center Boulevard. By my estimation two-thirds of the bands are really good, one-third so-so and one-third awesome. Like I said, that’s an estimate, no guarantees, but the price is right and the setting perfect.

‘Bake Culture’ Opens A Location On Center Boulevard In LIC

BAKE Culture has opened their latest location at 47-05 Center Boulevard in Long Island City. This is the fifth store for the Taiwanese bakery, with others located in Chinatown and Flushing. Offerings are a mix of sweet and savory items in both Asian and American styles.
